Repair and Tool Technician at The Home Depot
. This role involves the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. Technicians may work in stores with Tool Rental Centers or in repair centers. In stores, provide service to Tool Rental customers, write rental contracts and repair invoices, verify proper tool operation, and demonstrate usage as needed. In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, and cleaned before returning to the originating store.

Must have thorough knowledge of tools and manage tool inventory by maintaining and repairing tools as necessary.

$21.00/hr

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Provide service to Tool Rental customers; write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs.
• Verify tool operation and demonstrate proper use as needed.
• Maintain day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for repair quality and cleaned prior to returning to the originating store.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage tool inventory by maintaining and repairing tools as necessary.
