Maintenance Technician role carries a wide range of duties from mechanical to electrical on a small to large scale depending on need. You will be responsible for safely performing maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep plant, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition. The compensation is $32 per hour.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mechanical and electrical equipment, including sourcing and installing replacement parts.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance on industrial plant equipment.
- Maintain and organize maintenance supplies and inventory.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience with pumps, motors, and compressed air systems.
- Experience with oxygen/acetylene torch cutting.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns, including off-hours calls.
- Proficiency with computers for record keeping and documentation.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
