Sr. Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer; hybrid

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. computer vision and machine learning engineer with experience in image dataset creation, object detection, deep learning, and AI modeling. Must have full-stack Python development experience creating restful APIs and managing databases. This position is a great fit for engineers that are looking to create solutions for solving real-world problems. This is not an entry level or junior position.

We are seeking an engineer that has a minimum 5 years of professional experience in creating custom AI solutions. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. We are unable to sponsor work visas.

• A degree in computer science, engineering, robotics, or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience creating production ready applications using computer vision and machine learning
• Experience creating datasets and algorithmic modeling
• Experience with real-time object detection, segmentation, and pattern development using machine learning
• 3+ years of experience with Python programming, Postgres database, and API development
• Experience with deep learning frameworks PyTorch and Tensorflow
• Experience deploying applications on AWS
• Must be able to perform independently or in a small team
• Must have a knack for working on modern technologies and ability to develop new skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with other AI disciplines such as GenAI and Robotics a plus, but not required

This is a direct-hire full-time position open for local candidates that can work in a flexible hybrid setup or remote candidates. Position offers competitive salary in the range of $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience level or equivalent hourly rate. We will consider part-time candidates that can work consistent schedule and minimum 20 hours each week.
