About The Programme

Our two‑year Graduate Engineer Programme is designed to give you a deep understanding of our core engineering business through structured rotations, hands‑on experience, and close mentorship.

  • Year One:
    Three rotations across Product Engineering, Process & Lean Manufacturing, and Customer & Business Process, gaining exposure to casting design, metallurgy, prototyping, automation, and lean principles.
  • Year Two:
    Two six‑month placements in chosen specialisms, working on impactful projects.

You’ll have a dedicated mentor, access to industry experts, and opportunities to work on projects that make a real difference in high‑performance sectors.

This is not just a graduate scheme — it’s a launchpad for your engineering career, offering early responsibility, technical depth, and a clear pathway to progression.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Learning the aluminium casting process, including fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and metallurgy.
  • Supporting engineering projects to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Using CAD/CAE tools for design and computational simulation.
  • Applying Lean principles and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Gaining hands‑on experience in automation and control systems.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Collecting and analysing production data to recommend improvements.
Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking graduates who are passionate about engineering and ready to make an impact.

You’ll Need
  • A degree (minimum 2:1 predicted or achieved) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Agricultural, Robotics & Autonomous Systems, or Mechatronic Engineering. Please ensure you can provide evidence of your degree classification or predicted grade upon request.
  • You may have already completed your degree in 2025 or be due to graduate in summer 2026.
  • Strong proficiency in Mechanics/FEA, Engineering Materials, Thermodynamics, Fluids/CFD, Automation/Control, and Lean principles.
  • Ability to use CAD/CAE tools confidently.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with the determination to succeed.
  • Candidates should currently live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Bridgnorth site and have reliable transport to attend work on‑site five days per week.
