Position: Stores Assistant (Early Shift)

Location: Bridgnorth

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday (06:00 - 14:00)

Salary: Up to £12.48 per hour, dependent on experience.

About

The Role

As a Stores Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our materials flow, ensuring goods and fixtures are received, logged, and delivered efficiently. You’ll support production by maintaining accurate records and keeping our stores and yard organised.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Receiving, checking, and booking goods and materials into our system.
  • Distributing purchased items to the right teams and notifying them of deliveries.
  • Maintaining fixture logs and managing issue/return processes.
  • Supporting production with material movement across the shop floor.
  • Driving company vehicles to transfer goods between sites.
  • Carrying out stock checks and assisting with stock‑takes.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met in all storage areas.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in stores or materials handling.
  • Ability to use computer systems for booking goods in/out.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for stores operations.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (desirable).
