Accounts professional to join a local accounts team in the Coalisland area" About the Job Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the companies accounts function. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts Assist with monthly forecasting and budget reviews Assist in reviewing Profit & Loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations Perform multi-company bank reconciliations, including Sterling, Dollar, and Euro accounts Prepare and post weekly and monthly journals and accruals Prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat reports Process weekly and monthly wage journals and pension entries Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical surveys Conduct nominal ledger reviews and tax code checks Complete new customer and supplier account setup documentation Prepare new starter packs and carry out follow-ups Liaise with sales representatives across Ireland and mainland UK Manage daily communications with suppliers and customers Skills and Experience Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Accounts role Part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA / CIMA / ACA / Accounting Technicians Ireland) or working towards qualification, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) Strong understanding of accounting principles Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ryan Wharry at HireIQ in complete confidence.
