Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Abatec are recruiting a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist Civil Engineering contractor operating in the South West. Our client is interested in a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor that has experience working for either Tier 1 or 2 Civil Engineering contractors.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

• Maintain accurate records, control and reconcile costs and value, report variances against agreed performance, compliance and finance targets.
• Take control of change management and manage final accounts.
• Be responsible for subcontract procurement and managing their accounts.

Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:

• Previous experience of working with civil engineering contractors.
• Experience of commercially delivering multi-million-pound schemes.
• Strong commercial awareness and acumen.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience of NEC forms of contract.

Salary and benefits include:

• 400- 500 per day Ltd (Outside IR35).
