Site Manager

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for experienced Site Managers to join a leading international engineering and construction organisation delivering some of the UK's most complex and prestigious projects across the nuclear, infrastructure, commercial, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Known for their innovative approach to construction, off-site manufacturing capabilities, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability, the business has established itself as one of the industry's leading contractors on major UK projects.

Due to continued project demands, they are seeking Site Managers to oversee the delivery of high-specification office fit out packages on a major nuclear infrastructure development at Hinkley Point.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of high-end office fit out works within a technically challenging and highly regulated environment. The project includes premium office accommodation, meeting facilities, welfare areas, executive work spaces, and associated commercial interiors finished to an exceptional standard.

Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, you will ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all site activities associated with commercial office fit out works.

Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and logistics throughout the project lifecycle.

Drive programme delivery and ensure key milestones are achieved.

Maintain exceptional standards of health, safety, quality, and site presentation.

Manage inspections, quality assurance processes, snagging, and handover activities.

Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.

Liaise with project managers, commercial teams, consultants, and client representatives.

Ensure all site records, permits, and project documentation are maintained accurately.

Lead site meetings and coordinate multiple trades within a live construction environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial office fit out projects.

Strong background in CAT A, CAT B, corporate office, or high-end interior fit out works.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and fast-paced construction programmes.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Ability to maintain high quality standards and client expectations.

Experience with in highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, healthcare, or major infrastructure would be advantageous but is not essential.
