Project Manager – Hinkley Point C

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a project team working at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset.

This is an opportunity to take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects within a major infrastructure environment, coordinating teams, subcontractors and stakeholders while ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

The Role

* Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of allocated projects.

* Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and key deliverables.

* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

* Monitor progress against programme and take appropriate action where required.

* Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

* Manage project documentation, reporting, change control and commercial matters.

* Attend and lead project meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks and issues.

* Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

About You

* Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction, engineering or a major infrastructure environment.

* Strong project management and organisational skills.

* Experience managing programmes, budgets and project teams.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to demanding deadlines.

* Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.

* Experience working on nuclear, energy or other major infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.

* Ability to pass relevant BPSS vetting and drug & alcohol testing.
