What skills and experience we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and positive person to join our excellent team of Learning Support Assistants to support a child with Autism in the school environment.
Responsibilities- Providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment for the child.
- Aiding in planning, delivering and implementing work tasks, under the direction and supervision of the SEND Co‑ordinator and Teacher.
- Delivering some of the 1:1 provision and interventions within the EHCP under the guidance of the SEND Co‑ordinator and teacher.
- Participating in relevant training.
- Taking part in reviews and meetings involving outside professionals.
- Working closely with staff and pupils.
- Supporting the child during any break and lunchtimes.
- Providing First Aid.
- Inspiring creativity, exploration, and curiosity in children.
- Promoting the safeguarding and well‑being of all children.
