This 12‑month placement offers a starting salary of £24,500 and the chance to work at the Hinkley Point C construction site or Satellite Delivery Centre – both part of the largest construction project in Europe.

You’ll join our Construction Engineering Programme, gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic and safety‑focused environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real‑world challenges, and develop technical, analytical and collaborative skills that will support your future career.

• Participate in practical learning and supported by mentors and collaborative teams.
• Deliver detailed plans and technical reviews, improve safety campaigns, support radiation protection strategies and maintain condition monitoring programmes across operational sites.
• Apply academic training to real industry problems while completing modules that contribute toward your degree.

You’ll be based at the Bridgwater Hinkley Point C construction site or Satellite Delivery Centre, part of a team driving progress on one of the UK’s significant energy projects.

• On track or have achieved a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree (2:2 or higher) in Construction, Engineering.
• Strong skill set in engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking and collaboration.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will ordinarily require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
