Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a large infrastructure scheme in Bridgwater. Due to project scale and long-term workload, they are looking to bring on an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a key commercial role on site.

The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for a significant work package, supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to final account. Key duties will include:
Commercial management of a major infrastructure project under NEC (specifically option

C) Preparation and administration of early warnings, compensation events, and change control Cost forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting to senior management Procurement and management of subcontractors Valuations, payments, and final account negotiations Working closely with project, planning, and engineering teams to manage risk and opportunity About You Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure Strong NEC contract experience is essential Background in heavy civils, infrastructure, energy, highways, or major projects Confident managing cost, change, and commercial strategy on large schemes Comfortable operating in a site-based environment and engaging with stakeholders If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor with solid NEC experience and are considering your next contract on a major infrastructure scheme, this is a role worth exploring.
