The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Advisor to join the Hinkley Point C project team. In this role, you ll play a key part in ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation and best practices on one of the UK s most significant infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders to support environmental compliance across the site. This is a site-based role offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful and sustainable delivery of a nationally critical energy project.

What We re Looking For
  • Essential:
  • Degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation relevant to construction
  • Experience operating within an Environmental Management System (e.g. ISO 14001)
  • Experience working on construction sites and engaging with regulators (e.g. EA, NE, MMO)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of soil and materials management (e.g. CL:

    AIRE protocol)
  • Familiarity with EPR permit compliance
  • Awareness of CDM Regulations 2015 and contractor responsibilities
