The Project

The Quality Engineer (QE) supports the Quality Management Lead (QML) in ensuring project quality requirements are met across the full HPC project lifecycle. The role provides implementation and monitoring support and does not hold accountability for final quality decisions, which remain with the QML.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Supporting the development of quality (QA/QC) arrangements for deployment across the HPC organisation.
  • Implementing key quality arrangements related to the following topics:
  • Assisting with PQCPs and CQAPs.
  • Supporting manufacturing surveillance and inspections.
  • Assisting with NCR management and close out.
  • Supporting quality reporting and metrics.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Experience delivering projects in nuclear or highly regulated environments, with strong quality focus.
  • Robust understanding of QA/QC, compliance and governance across full project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to engage project teams and supply chain stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical capability, producing reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Proactive, adaptable, self-directed professional with proven delivery track record.
  • Degree-qualified engineer, senior-level, with excellent English communication skills.
