Civil Engineer – Design, Review & Acceptance

This hybrid role is suited to candidates within commuting distance of Bridgwater or those willing to relocate with relocation support available. You will support civil engineering design changes and construction delivery activities on site. The role combines technical review, contractor coordination and configuration management responsibilities.

• Review and accept civil design changes raised during construction activities.
• Provide technical responses supporting safe and efficient construction progress.
• Review design deliverables ensuring quality, consistency, and technical accuracy.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, designers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Manage site construction configuration and design change implementation processes.
• Support resolution of technical civil engineering and concrete design challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety cases, CDM regulations, and project requirements.
• Monitor engineering contractor activities and manage delivery priorities effectively.
• Coordinate civil design interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support construction readiness reviews and technical package release activities.
