Hinkley Point C (HPC) is a significant nuclear power station project located in Somerset, England. It is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years and represents a major step towards achieving the country's energy security and carbon reduction goals. This business has a large mechanical scope of work and currently require a Steel Erection Supervisor to be based on site at HPC for a long term contract

The steel erection supervisor will

• ensure that the works are completed on time and within the organisations specification and quality standards.
• be acquainted with contract(s) of subcontractors and/or Self Performance for defined scope;
• verify and report work done by subcontractors and/or Self Performance for defined scope;
• ensure direct management, supervision and direction of Self Performance acquired erection personnel and forces to install the assigned works within the discipline and ensure the works are completed on time
• Verification, explanation and clarification (in verbal and written form) of erection documentation to erection forces (either subcontract or Self Performance);
• Identifying materials and tools/equipment required to execute the works within the discipline;
