Morson Edge are working on behalf of a major player in the Energy Sector who have a current contract requirement for an experienced Field Engineer (Welding & NDT) to join their established site-based team in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a (renewable) contract position - inside IR35.

Overview:

• As a Field Engineer focused on welding and NDT activities, you will oversee critical quality assurance tasks, ensuring construction activities align with contractual and safety requirements. ? ? You will Identify and mitigate potential quality issues, supporting on-time project delivery.

Principal accountabilities

• Submit and document non-conformance reports as needed.
• Review and monitor Quality Control Plans and Inspection Records.
• Evaluate contractor performance and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental objectives across site operations.
• Ensure documentation and reporting align with regulatory and quality requirements.
