£70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience + Car + Pension + 35 Days Holiday
(9 Day Fortnight OR 5 Day Week Option)
We are working on behalf of Major Tier 1 M&E Contractor, working in the Nuclear Sector at HPC / Bridgwater
Hinkley Point C is the UK’s first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK Net Zero targets.
All roles on the project require key behaviours which support the Zero Harm objective, a questioning attitude, and drive to uphold the standards of safety and quality required by this prestigious project. A committed strong work ethic is essential at all levels.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will provide support to ensure the effective delivery of activities in the programme to required safety, quality, time and cost targets, while recognising and managing the impacts of the programme on the wider Project.
Your role will be to build strong relationships to ensure project success.
Key deliverables
Lead the end-to-end delivery of M&E installation projects
Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maximise efficiency and performance
Develop and monitor project programmes, procurement schedules, and resource plans
Drive commercial performance through cost control, reporting, and management of variations and project accounts
Ensure the highest standards of quality, health and safety are maintained across all project activities, carrying out site inspections and driving compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Qualifications / Experience
Educated to Degree / HNC in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (LV, HV, MEP installations) or working towards HNC (Preferred)
Proven track record of delivering projects, ideally within the Nuclear Sector but will look at other regulated industry sectors (Building Services, Oil and Gas etc.)
Working knowledge of CDM Regulations
