Overview

The MEP Coordinator role in Bridgwater is a full-time, temporary position with RGB Recruitment, offering a competitive salary dependent on experience. This placement on a major infrastructure project involves supporting the design delivery team for an initial five to six months, with possible extension.

Key responsibilities include coordinating, managing, and delivering MEP design activities within a regulated setting. The successful candidate will develop, review, and issue technical information alongside experienced project and design management professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of design task orders, seismic analysis activities and assist the Lead MEP Project Manager.
  • Coordinate design information and resolve technical queries raised by the supply chain.
  • Monitor design outputs against agreed programmes and project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures, reporting requirements and industry standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
About You / Qualifications
  • Proactive and organized with a strong technical background and excellent coordination skills.
  • Experience as an MEP Coordinator, Design Coordinator, Technical Coordinator or similar roles.
  • Experience working for a Main Contractor or M&E Contractor on large-scale construction projects.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Experience on major infrastructure, complex engineering or highly regulated projects is advantageous.
