Description

About the role

Osprey believes that innovative, precision-engineering logistics, by land and by water, can transform the way critical UK infrastructure is built. We bring together the very best multi-disciplinary engineering and delivery team to accelerate projects, enhance safety, and work side by side with clients to solve the most complex construction challenges.

We are seeking a proactive Engineering Surveyor to lead surveying, setting out and dimensional verification activities across a range of engineering and construction projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications, project requirements and quality standards. Working closely with Engineering, Construction, Quality and Project Delivery teams, you will provide surveying expertise across civil, structural and mechanical works.

Key responsibilities include managing survey activities, carrying out setting out and as-built surveys, maintaining control networks and coordinate systems, analysing survey data, resolving dimensional discrepancies, and producing accurate technical documentation. You will also support installation planning, constructability reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to help deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
