Overview

Adams Morey is offering the opportunity for a motivated individual to join the team at our site in Bridgwater as a Parts Apprentice.

This 2-year Parts Apprenticeship is ideal for people who want to enter the industry and go far; the programme offers a genuine chance to learn the role inside out.

Vehicles rely on good parts supply, which in turn requires effective stock management at the local dealership; here's your chance to become a professional in parts logistics for commercial vehicles.

Salary: £7.55 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 5:00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid)

What you’ll do:

As this role offers a varied workload the Apprentice Parts Person will develop skills in a number of areas, including safe storage for parts, handling, storing and receiving stock, payments and procedures.

Identifying, sourcing and ordering parts, monitoring and solving customer problems/enquiries and processing of customer orders. You will be working with both customers and workshop staff, over the phone and face to face, using computerised stock management systems and parts identification programme.

What we need:

• Maths & English Grades 4-9 or equivalent (A-C) is essential.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service with a real passion for trucks or vehicles.
• Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles is desirable.
• An ability to work effectively as part of a team and a commitment to building a career within the industry.
