AI Adoption Lead Shape practical AI adoption across communications with new tools, dashboards and workflows. This opportunity suits someone with hands-on AI and automation experience, strong analytical skills and confidence influencing senior stakeholders. At least 60% office attendance is required. This role is officially known as a Communications AI Integration Lead within the organisation. SALARY:
Up to £51,402 per annum pro rata

LOCATION:

Hybrid with at least 60% of working time in the office, with remaining time home or office based under a non-contractual hybrid arrangement. You can be based at the site closest to your home:

WORKING HOURS:

Full-Time and Part-Time Hours Available (minimum of 30 hours per week for part-time roles) JOB OVERVIEW This is an opportunity to shape practical AI adoption across a high-profile communications function, building new tools, workflows and insight products from the ground up. The AI Adoption Lead will turn emerging AI capability into safe, useful ways of working across campaign planning, content, evaluation and social insight.

Working with senior stakeholders and digital, data and communications colleagues, the AI Adoption Lead will develop dashboards, monitoring approaches and decision workflows. The AI Adoption Lead will also build lasting capability through guidance, workshops, coaching and a practical roadmap for continuous improvement. DUTIES Your duties as the AI Adoption Lead include: AI Adoption and Governance:
Lead practical AI use within communications, aligning activity with wider strategy, governance, standards and risk controls Insight Products and Dashboards:
Develop AI-enabled tracking, automated dashboards and reusable reporting using Power BI or Looker Studio Communications Optimisation:
Identify, test and implement AI tools for content creation, drafting, campaign optimisation and evaluation Monitoring and Evaluation:
Review horizon scanning, social listening, reputation tracking and campaign evaluation, reducing duplication and closing gaps Stakeholder Engagement:
Define priority questions, metrics and reporting needs with senior stakeholders and advise on AI use Workflow Design:
Create end-to-end processes for gathering, triaging, escalating and applying insight to communications planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Connect communications, digital, data and internal teams to share good practice and support effective AI use Capability Building:
Produce guidance, deliver workshops and coach colleagues to build confidence and sustainable adoption Continuous Improvement:
Create a practical roadmap with milestones and success measures for permanent ownership CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL Practical experience using AI and automation tools to improve workflows, including prompt design, automated summarisation or classification Expertise building automated reporting products and dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative insight, identify evidence gaps and produce reports that inform communications Experience embedding monitoring tools such as social listening or reputation tracking into organisational workflows Proven ability to introduce new ways of working across diverse teams and influence senior stakeholders Experience producing high-quality guidance and training materials to support sustainable technology adoption Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues to build capability and confidence with new tools Ability to demonstrate changing and improving, communicating and influencing, and working together Ability to travel to other offices as required BENEFITS Flexible working hours, subject to operational requirements Hybrid working options,…
