Office Cleaner

Meridian requires a part-time commercial office cleaner to start ASAP at the prestigious events and meeting centre at Cannington Court in Somerset TA5

• £13.45 per hour + holiday pay
• START ASAP
• 16 hours per week - Monday to Friday 16:00-20:00
• Temporary opportunity - initially 6 weeks
• Possibility of further work for the right candidate
• Must have own transport as location is not serviced well by public transport
• Free parking

We are looking for a cleaning superstar to keep our customer's offices clean, safe and tidy, maintaining the highest standard of cleaning so that all areas are presentable, safe, and hygienic for employees, clients, and visitors.

• Clean office areas, including desks, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, and restrooms.
• Empty bins/clean fridges
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floors.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as required.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow proper cleaning and health & safety procedures, including use of PPE and cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and maintained in good condition.

• Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning (preferred but not required as on the job training will be provided).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (standing, lifting, bending, etc).

• Indoor office environment.
• Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals (training provided).
