Who we’re looking for:

Are you a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for data and a passion for improvement? We’re looking for a MIS Manager to lead our MIS function and ensure our data systems drive high‑quality decision‑making, compliance, and performance across the organisation.

As part of our management team, you’ll manage the MIS team, oversee all learner‑related data systems, and ensure accurate reporting to funding bodies. You’ll play a pivotal role in everything from funding optimisation to curriculum planning—supporting staff, managers, and the Board with expert insights and timely information.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead and develop the MIS team to deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused service.
  • Drive improvements in data quality, system performance, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements (including DFE).
  • Oversee learner data systems and online enrolment platforms.
  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide expert guidance and training.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing MIS in Further Education or Work‑based Learning.
  • Skilled in reporting, data analysis, and presenting data to various audiences.
  • Strong understanding of funding methodologies and data compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing teams and providing accurate management information to managers, senior leaders and board members.
  • A proactive, detail‑focused approach with great communication skills.
