Buyer / Procurement Specialist (Manufacturing) - Bridgwater Area

Contract: 10-12 months (strong potential for permanent)
Salary: Up to £34,000 DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday with early Friday finish - flexibility on start and end times

Are you an experienced Buyer or Procurement Specialist seeking your next challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Butler Rose is recruiting for a well-established manufacturer in the Bridgwater area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, collaborative procurement team on a 10-12 month contract, with a strong chance of becoming permanent.

• Procure goods and materials to meet operational needs, focusing on price, quality, and timely delivery.
• Produce quotations against customer Bills of Materials.
• Resolve delivery and quality issues efficiently to prevent delays.
• Negotiate and build relationships with suppliers.
• Liaise with internal departments and report to senior management.

• Previous experience in manufacturing procurement is essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Competitive salary up to £34,000 DOE.
• 28 days leave (inc BH)
• Pension scheme.
• Early finish on Fridays.
