Job Description
We are supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme based near Hinkley Point C, delivered by one of the UK’s leading energy organisations.
This opportunity is ideal for a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance professional with experience working in regulated or safety‑critical environments, supporting compliance, governance, and continuous improvement across complex engineering projects.
You will play a key role ensuring quality standards are maintained across project teams and suppliers, supporting one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Support deployment and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Quality Planning, inspection coordination and test plan writing.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 19443, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct and support internal and supplier audits
- Monitor quality performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Support project teams in implementing quality processes and best practice
- Interface with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams
- Produce reports and quality documentation using Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the programme
- Work with EPC's
Required Skills:
- 5–9 years of experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance, or Compliance role
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar recognised quality standards
- Experience working in regulated or safety‑critical industries (nuclear, defence, aerospace, rail, oil & gas, or similar)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Experience using SharePoint and collaborative platforms
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable
Skills:
- Experience in the nuclear sector
- Familiarity with ISO 19443
- Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or Atlassian tools
- Experience supporting supplier quality or audit programs
- Understanding of working in highly regulated environments

This role may require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance.
