Catering Assistant School

We’re currently recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join a busy school catering environment in Bridgwater. This is a hands‑on role supporting the catering team with food preparation, service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Assist in preparing and serving food to staff and pupils.
• Support with kitchen setup and cleaning duties before and after service.
• Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are maintained.
• Restock supplies and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Work efficiently as part of a small, friendly catering team.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).
• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role (desirable).
• Strong awareness of food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
