Looking for a career where you can make a real impact? We are recruiting a Relief Security Officer to support a range of high-profile client sites across Puriton, Yeovil, Exeter, and occasionally Plymouth. As a Relief Security Officer, you will help protect people, property, and premises while delivering excellent customer service in a varied and dynamic role.

To be successful as a Relief Security Officer, you must hold a valid SIA licence, have a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and be willing to travel between sites. Previous security experience is beneficial but not essential. If you are reliable, professional, and adaptable, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and prevent unauthorised access.
• Carry out regular internal and external security patrols.
• Control site access, traffic, parking, and visitor/contractor passes.
• Manage keys, locking/unlocking duties, and maintain security records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazards, and emergency situations.
• Support the safety and security of staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Report faults, accidents, unsafe practices, and security concerns.
• Conduct searches and initial investigations when required.
• Deliver professional customer service and resolve queries effectively.
• Complete documentation accurately and follow site procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

• Valid SIA Licence
• Willing to travel, with work across Puriton, Yeovil, Exeter, and occasionally Plymouth
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Security experience preferred
• Eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Right to work in the UK, with a minimum 5-year checkable history
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer-focused, polite, tactful, and discreet
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong self-motivation
• Excellent organisational, customer service, and communication skills

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance
- Must be a British National and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
