Essential Requirements:
  • Experience supporting adults, families or vulnerable people, ideally within domestic abuse, safeguarding, housing or support services.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of adults and children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting, professional relationships with clients and partner agencies.
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritise effectively and maintain accurate, confidential records.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
The Role:

As a member of the PARAGON team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals and families affected by domestic abuse and helping to create safer communities. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies, statutory services and community organisations to ensure clients receive coordinated support. The role requires maintaining accurate records, managing safeguarding concerns appropriately, and advocating on behalf of clients where necessary. Every day will be different, but your focus will remain the same: empowering people to make informed choices, increase their safety, and move forward with confidence.

About You:

You are compassionate, resilient and motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. You will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be confident supporting people through challenging and complex circumstances. Passionate about ending violence against adults and children, you will work alongside clients as an equal partner, recognising their strengths and empowering them to achieve their goals.

You will be an excellent communicator who can build positive, professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external agencies. Adaptable and organised, you will be able to balance competing priorities while maintaining a person-centred approach that reflects PARAGON's mission of Together Empowering Change.

Benefits:
  • Competitive rates of pay and paid travel time, including a higher mileage rate for car sharing.
  • Enhanced annual leave entitlements, with the opportunity to buy and sell holiday.
  • Matched pension scheme contributions, plus Death in Service Benefit and salary sacrifice options.
  • Enhanced sick pay allowances and paid compassionate and emergency dependent leave.
  • Excellent and professionally certified training, as well as access to fully-funded apprenticeship programmes.
  • Real opportunities to develop in your profession.
  • Free health and wellbeing advice via a 24/7, confidential Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Everything you need to carry out your role free of charge, which may include a mobile phone, safety equipment and other necessary technology, a uniform where applicable, and of course a nice cup of tea or coffee throughout your day!
  • Access to discounts across lots of your favourite stores and online shopping sites.
