We are seeking an Algorithms/Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with algorithm engineers and technical experts to transcode a large, complex Legacy algorithm codebase from ADA to Matlab. You'll play a key part in ensuring robust testing, compatibility with auto-coding tools, and seamless integration into larger systems.

• Collaborate with algorithm engineers and technical experts to convert ADA code into Matlab.
• Define, distribute, and review core activities to meet project timelines.
• Develop test harnesses and implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure equivalence between Legacy ADA algorithms and Matlab code.
• Follow Code of Practice (CoP) for Matlab development, ensuring compatibility with auto-coding tools and resolving issues as needed.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including downstream software teams, for effective integration.
• Support resolution of queries and non-compliances.

• Experience developing within Matlab/Math Works toolsets
• ADA experience
• Auto-coding using Matlab
• Experience with C would be useful
• Proven experience in writing, delivering, and testing algorithm-related software
• Live SC Clearance is required

• Familiarity with IBM Engineering Workflow Management and GIT
• Knowledge of sea-launched weapons systems
