Midlands | Projects Across the East & West Midlands £90,000 £ 95,000  Package Commercial Manager Civil Engineering Contractor An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects across the East and West Midlands. Following continued success in securing long-term frameworks and major infrastructure contracts, the business is expanding its commercial leadership team.

You'll oversee the commercial performance of multiple highways and civil engineering schemes, working closely with senior operational and commercial leaders to drive profitability and project success. The Role As Commercial Manager, you will:
Lead the commercial delivery of multiple highways and infrastructure projects. Manage, mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors. Drive commercial performance, forecasting and cost control. Manage NEC contracts and commercial risk. Oversee subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts. Work closely with Operational Directors, Contracts Managers and Project Teams. Build strong relationships with clients, framework partners and key stakeholders.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and commercially successfully. About You This opportunity is ideal for an established Commercial Manager or an ambitious Managing Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step into a regional commercial leadership role. You'll have experience delivering projects within:
Civil Engineering Highways Infrastructure National Highways Local Authority Frameworks Section 278 Works Earthworks Drainage NEC Contracts You'll also demonstrate:
Experience leading commercial teams and developing Quantity Surveyors. Strong commercial and contractual knowledge. Excellent NEC contract experience.
