Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced electrically biased Multi‑Skilled Engineer looking for a dynamic role in a fast‑paced FMCG environment? We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our Engineering team in the East Yorkshire area, providing technical support to manufacturing operations and contributing to the success of our business.

• Ensure the mechanical and electrical integrity of plant equipment through planned maintenance, repairs, and fault‑finding.
• Monitor and improve plant performance while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors, acting as a champion for engineering excellence.
• Complete essential documentation and communicate effectively during shift hand‑overs.

• A time‑served engineering qualification with expertise in electrical, PLCs, mechanical, hydraulic, and steam systems.
• Electrical qualifications, 18th edition not essential.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.

This is a 4 on/off role - 6am - 6pm with salary £44k - £48k.
