About This Role

St Mary's CE Primary School (Bridport) is looking for a SEND Hub Lead Teacher:
Communication and Interaction Hub to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £32,916 - £49,232 per annum (M1 to M6/UP2).

This job is Full Time and is offered on a permanent basis.

Approximate start date: 1 September 2026.

TOUR AFTERNOONS – Friday 12 & 19 June at 3.45pm and Tuesday 16 June at 3.45pm other days may be possible – please contact the school office.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: 26 June at 9am.

INTERVIEW DATE: week beginning 29 June 2026.

The Lead Teacher will be responsible for leading, managing, delivering, and coordinating the daily teaching, planning, assessment, and pastoral care for a group of pupils with communication and interaction needs, as well as managing the Hub's provision. They will work closely with the main school SENDCo and report to the Headteacher as well as liaise with local authorities and external agencies from consultation to the supporting the varying learning and pastoral needs of the pupils.
