Overview
ASD Tutor — We are seeking a patient and experienced Tutor to support a Year 10 student with ASD on a 1:1 basis in the DT6 area
.
This role will involve delivering personalised support to help the student engage with learning in a way that suits their individual needs, building confidence and promoting positive educational outcomes.
Details- Location: DT6
- Hours: Initially 5 hours per week, increasing to up to 10 hours per week
- Days: Tuesday and Thursday
- Start Date: ASAP
- Type: 1:1 Tutoring
- Provide 1:1 tutoring to support a Year 10 student with ASD in the DT6 area.
- Deliver personalised learning support tailored to the student's individual needs.
- Help build confidence and promote positive educational outcomes through adaptable teaching strategies.
- Experience working with students with ASD
- Ability to build positive relationships and engage learners on a 1:1 basis
- Patient, flexible, and supportive approach
- Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or SEN support
- Strong communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
