Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a number of secondary schools across Bridport and the surrounding areas who are looking for reliable, flexible and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to join them from September 2026.

Supply teaching is an ideal option for teachers who want more control over their working week, while continuing to enjoy classroom-based work and gaining experience within a variety of secondary school settings.

We have a range of supply teaching positions available across mainstream secondary schools, working with students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Opportunities may include:

• Day-to-day supply teaching
• Short-term and longer-term placements
• Full-time and part-time roles
• Weekly or half-term assignments
• Potential temp-to-perm and permanent positions

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility, an ECT keen to build your experience, or simply considering an alternative to permanent teaching, we can help identify opportunities that match your skills and availability.

We're interested in hearing from:

• Qualified Secondary Teachers with QTS or QTLS
• ECTs looking to gain further classroom experience

Successful candidates should have strong behaviour management, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly
. Confidence, professionalism and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
