An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, or Registered Manager to lead a beautiful, small nursing home in Bridport, Dorset.
This role is ideally suited to an established manager who enjoys working autonomously and takes pride in delivering exceptional care, leading high‑performing teams, and maintaining excellent standards. The successful candidate will join a respected care provider that offers support when needed while trusting managers to run their homes effectively.

Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager Responsibilities- Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the nursing home
- Ensure the delivery of outstanding, person‑centred care
- Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
- Lead, motivate, and develop nursing, care, and support teams
- Manage staffing levels, occupancy, budgets, and resources effectively
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high‑quality care standards
- Promote a positive and supportive culture throughout the home
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, or Registered Manager
- Proven experience managing a care home or nursing home service
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage the home with confidence and autonomy
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional care and achieving positive outcomes for residents
- Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) preferred but not essential
- Experience managing a nursing home setting
- Track record of maintaining good or outstanding quality standards
- £50,000 per annum
