Overview OfThe Role
Tillo is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to own email as a core marketing channel and help us deliver clear, timely communications that effectively support customers, target prospects, and ultimately drive new and existing business growth. You’ll plan and run programs that span lifecycle journeys, product updates, campaigns, and critical announcements. Your work will keep our customers informed, our prospects engaged, and our team aligned on what great email looks like.

You’ll join a tight‑knit, ambitious marketing team of specialists that partners across the business to bring clarity and confidence to every touchpoint.
You’ll report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with Creative, Demand Gen, Campaigns, Rev Ops, and our Account Management and Operations teams.

Day to day this role will- Own all customer and prospect email activity across the business.
- Build, run, and optimise programs in Hub Spot, including segmentation, workflows, and lifecycle journeys.
- Manage complex audience structures across customers, prospects, brands, buyers, verticals, and use cases to ensure the right message reaches the right contact at the right time.
- Design and maintain a GDPR‑compliant subscription and preference centre, helping us build clear opt‑in models and give users control over the types of emails they receive.
- Partner with Creative to develop on‑brand email templates and maintain consistency across all email output.
- Work with Demand Gen and Campaign Managers on campaign planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Own our outbound intent‑based email marketing tool and the corresponding sequences.
- Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager and Account Management/Ops teams to deliver product announcements, feature releases, customer updates, and promotional campaigns.
- Work with our Product and Engineering teams to improve system‑generated emails sent via the Tillo Hub.
- Partner with Rev Ops to maintain clean, accurate data, improve list structures, and support good data hygiene across the CRM.
- Analyse performance at each stage of the email funnel and use insights to guide decisions, resolve issues, and improve outcomes.
- Lead testing, experimentation, and reporting to improve engagement and support business goals.
- Act as Tillo’s internal expert for email best practices, deliverability, accessibility, and automation opportunities.
- Keep projects organised in a busy environment and balance competing priorities as you scale a high‑volume email program.
- Support crisis or time‑sensitive communications with clear thinking and strong execution.
- Identify opportunities to make our processes, templates, and workflows more efficient and easier for stakeholders to use.
- 2–4 years in an email marketing role, ideally within B2B or a fast‑moving environment.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Hub Spot, including lists, segments, workflows, and preference centres.
- Familiarity with HTML email basics.
- Comfortable managing complex segmentation and large contact datasets.
- Ability to interpret data, solve problems, and make clear recommendations.
- Strong written communication skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and user needs.
