Your new role We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Business Studies and Economics Teacher to join the school on a permanent basis from August 21st 2026 The position can be offered as either:
Part-time (0.8 FTE, Monday to Thursday) Full-time While the preference is for a permanent appointment, applications from teachers seeking a temporary arrangement will also be considered. You will teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and develop their understanding of the modern business world, economic principles, and global markets. You will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.

This role would suit an experienced practitioner or an ambitious Early Career Teacher looking to develop within a supportive and internationally focused setting. To be successful in this role, you will:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

- Have experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level.

- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for your specialism.

- Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.

- Be dedicated to supporting students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
