Job description

The role

King’s School is currently recruiting for a technician to support our Design and Technology and Food and Nutrition teachers. The successful applicant will be involved in preparing resources for a range of lessons and will be a key member of our D&T and Food and Nutrition Team. If you are an organized and proactive individual with a passion for practical subjects and supporting student learning, we would like to hear from you.

Contract: 15 hours per week, on a permanent contract, term time only (working Thursday and Friday)

Salary: Band 1a NJC 3-5: £24,796 - £25,583 depending on experience (Actual salary £8,712 - £9,069 per annum)

Start date: As soon as possible

Paid weeks per year
:45.24 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

About the Role

Who are we? King’s School is a Church of England school within the Diocese of Chichester. The school opened its doors to its first cohort of students in September 2013 and there are currently over 900 students in years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 with a team of over 100 teachers and support staff. In September 2019 the school moved to its new, purpose-built site in Hangleton.

This was the culmination of six years of hard work and planning and marked the beginning of an exciting new stage in the school’s development.
