1:1 Tutor – Primary & Secondary | English, Maths & Science – Northamptonshire Competitive Pay | School-Based | Part-Time & Full-Time | Monday–Friday
TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is seeking experienced 1:1 Tutors and Teachers to support Primary and Secondary pupils across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
We are looking for tutors with strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science to provide personalised tuition in schools during school hours. This is an excellent opportunity to help pupils close learning gaps, build confidence and make academic progress.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition in school settings.
- Support Primary and Secondary pupils with English, Maths and/or Science
. - Plan lessons based on individual learning needs and curriculum requirements.
- Identify and address learning gaps.
- Support GCSE preparation where appropriate.
- Monitor pupil progress and complete session reports.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Minimum 2 years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
- Experience working with Primary and/or Secondary pupils.
- Strong knowledge of English, Maths and/or Science
. - Understanding of the UK National Curriculum
. - Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to travel to schools across Northamptonshire.
- QTS, PGCE or recognised teaching qualification.
- SEND experience, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or dyslexia.
- GCSE teaching/exam preparation experience.
- Experience with EHCPs, personalised learning and alternative provision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
