Location:
Telford Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 1:30pm
Hybrid working: 3 office / 2 home (first 3–4 months onsite for training)

This job would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as an Electrical Design Engineer, Creo Design Engineer, Solid Works Design Engineer, Windchill Design Engineer, Electrical Development Engineer, Electrical Systems Engineer, Electrical Product Engineer, Materials Engineer, Electromechanical Design Engineer, Electronics Engineer or Systems Engineer.
Also, someone who has a good understanding of metallurgy, polymers and material strength, selection and performance.

- As an Electrical Engineer in the R&D division, you’ll work across the full product lifecycle from early concept development to prototyping and final validation.
- Contribute to a variety of projects including cabinets, racking systems and electro‑mechanical assemblies, and work with CAD software such as Creo and Windchill.
- Ownership and autonomy in your designs

- Background in electrotechnical engineering
- Strong understanding of thermal dissipation, strength of materials, LV Switchgears and metallurgy and polymers
- Ability to design in line with Wiring Regulations, British Standards and European Standards
- 3D CAD knowledge ideally Creo, Solid Works or Windchill
- HNC, degree or equivalent technical qualification
- A passion for systems design, problem‑solving and turning ideas into tangible solutions
