Global Operational Risk Manager

Overview

Our client, a boutique global investment management firm headquartered in London, is seeking an experienced and proactive Operational Risk Manager to join the London office.

This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to shape and enhance the firm’s operational risk framework in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This is a permanent position paying up to £130,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

• Develop and maintain the firm’s operational risk framework, policies, and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments across business units and support the implementation of controls.
• Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs), incidents, and emerging risks.
• Partner with teams to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.

• Proven experience in operational risk management within an investment management firm.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back investment processes and associated risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence across all levels of the organisation.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations (UCITS).
