- Pricing:
In charge of Competitors' prices and dynamic "solutions" surveying and prices suggestions, both structure and value. - Enable dynamic pricing implementation with a back-to-back block + spot supply contract (SEE) and the corresponding front customer notification and price adjustments enablement (Solutions).
- Forecast:
Manages long term (monthly time base) and short term (hourly time base) forecast of TCSUK affiliate, to minimize Day Ahead (DA) and Intraday imbalances costs. - Analyze and support implementation of new metering strategy (smart meter) through a global approach: forecast, supply and pricing
- Support innovative products as dynamic pricing, static and smart load balancing, demand response and associated retributions and sharing with stkeholders.
- Evaluate the merits of dynamic pricing and “plunge events” whereby sales prices can be flash discounted when spot are low, to generate positive volume elasticity whist maintaining unit margins
- Evaluate the merits of load shedding through the power platform and its different use cases and revenue streams (peer to peer with supplier for instance)
- Active support to financial controlling with regard to energy reconciliation and LTP/BU exercises (including electricity consumption and margin).
- CPO Profitability reporting and follow up on margins on electricity:
Assists with explanations of margin on supply of electricity versus indexation if any - Analyse and challenge RGPUK's invoice in all aspects: current period, previous period catch-up, grid costs path-throughs and catch-up
- Support and contribute to global supply Price Risk Monitoring data management (SEE solutions implementation) and Data metering (TCSUK solutions implementation). Ensure forecast sharing monthly basis to SEE
- Interact with RGPUK (supplier) to analyze market orientation (grid cost revaluation, etc)
- Power and capacity cost optimization:
Establish balance between sites power connection (and yield) maximization, based on DNO's capacity cost structures (banding, condition to upgrade / downgrade access to capacity) and power capping with lower capacity costs
- Follows-up SEE’s supply strategy execution:
Daily spot and future power market evaluation for hedging decisions. - Represents TCSUK in validating SEE’s fixed-price bids to buy blocks on futures markets (CAL, Q, M) within the framework of a previously fixed mandate between TCSUK and SEE.
- Update TCSUK power tracker to monitor current cumulated electricity cost
- Support SEE in contract preparation and risk premiums (shaping, balancing) negotiation of supply contracts, and in procurement strategies evaluation (such as decentralized or utility-scale PPAs)
- Follows-up SEE in monitoring bio ticket valuation and registration if any.
- Monitors regulatory matters with SEE and RGPUK, contributes to lobbying, leveraging ChargeUK industry association
- International and multidisciplinary environment, consisting of complex, heterogeneous and constantly changing electricity markets.
- The EV market is developing with a lot of regulatory uncertainties / customer habits
- Complex and highly interfaced organization (internal M&S branch, GRP branch and third-party suppliers)
- Need to develop a supply and electricity price risk culture within the MS Branch.
Purposes- Contributes to the definition of the business pricing (to TCSUK’s customers) and electricity supply strategies to ensure volumes and margin optimization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within TCSUK and SEE to streamline pricing and energy management strategies, ensuring efficient communication
- Supports the transformation of the MS towards electric mobility by making pricing and supplies more flexible, testing price elasticity and controlling costs
- Exercises competitive intelligence and acts to maintain the competitiveness of the activity
- Contributes to making the EV BU a benchmark player in its decarbonization ambitions and innovative solutions for its customers
