Potato Graders Required - TF6 Area

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Potato Graders for one of our well-established clients based in the TF6 area
.

Please note: This is seasonal work only
, with the season expected to finish around the end of October
. Due to the start and finish times and the rural location of the site, there is no suitable public transport available
, therefore own transport is essential
.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who can be flexible with working hours and are available to work weekends during busier periods.

Pay Rate:£12.71ph

• Start times between 7:00am and 9:00am
  , depending on daily orders.
• Finish times vary depending on workload but will be no later than 7:00pm
  .
• Weekend work may be required during peak periods.

You will be responsible for sorting and grading potatoes on a production line, ensuring that only high-quality produce is packed and prepared for distribution.

• Inspect and grade potatoes according to size and quality standards.
• Remove damaged, defective, or unsuitable produce.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced production team.
• Follow site procedures and Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

• Own transport is essential due to the location and lack of public transport.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual attitude.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends when required.
• Previous farm or agricultural experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• No previous grading experience necessary as full training will be provided.
