Assembler
Location:
Halesowen Pay Rate: £13.27 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7am – 4:15pm, Friday 7am – 12pm Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Halesowen. This is a hands-on Assembly / Production Operative role working on the shop floor, supporting the production process, operating machinery and carrying out quality checks to ensure everything is produced safely and to a high standard.
The role would suit someone with previous assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operating experience, particularly someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
The Role:
Working as part of a busy production and assembly team Operating automatic production machinery Supporting the setup and adjustment of machinery Carrying out basic checks on machinery and equipment Completing quality checks throughout the production process Using hand tools and power tools where required Moving materials and products around the production area Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe Working to production targets and maintaining high standards of quality Reporting any issues with machinery or production processes
About You:
Previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operating Confident using hand tools and power tools Good mechanical aptitude Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment Good attention to detail Reliable and punctual Able to work well as part of a team Good understanding of health & safety Forklift experience would be an advantage but is not essential What's on Offer?
