Sales Representative - Joint Replacement Orthopaedics
Location:
Hove, South East England – covering Hampshire & West Sussex
Territory:
Hampshire & West Sussex
Compensation: £42,000 – £53,000 base salary + £29,000 uncapped OTE; company car or allowance.

As part of the South East Joint Replacement Team, you will meet and exceed sales objectives across your accounts while building long‑term partnerships with surgeons, theatre teams, and senior stakeholders in hospitals across Worthing, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton and surrounding areas. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment where relationships, expertise and execution make all the difference.
Key responsibilities- Grow market share and outperform the competition across the territory
- Maximise existing joint replacement business through strategic account planning
- Identify and convert new customer opportunities
- Build trusted relationships with hip and knee replacement surgeons
- Become a technical product expert through structured training pathways
- Lead and support joint replacement procedures in theatre
- Deliver continuous education and training to clinical teams
- Collaborate cross‑divisionally to unlock wider opportunities
- JR101 certification within the first 6 weeks
- Progression through advanced portfolio learning (JR201 / JR301)
- Ongoing personal development planning and mentorship
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience (medical sales ideal, orthopaedics a bonus)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to build territory plans
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders from theatre staff to C‑suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self‑driven, organised and comfortable working under pressure
- A proactive mindset with high integrity and resilience
- £42k – £53k base salary
- £29k uncapped OTE
