Senior Accountant - Audit at CFS

Base pay: $85,000.00 – $ per year.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong audit background to support financial reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance within a growing organization. This role is well‑suited for an experienced accounting professional who brings public company or public accounting audit experience and enjoys hands‑on ownership of balance sheet integrity, documentation, and internal controls. You will partner closely with accounting leadership to ensure the company remains audit‑ready and compliant as the business scales.

This position offers visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and financial discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting or public company audit background
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience supporting external audits, including audit requests and documentation
• Ability to prepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Experience identifying and addressing audit findings or control gaps
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Clear, professional communication skills

• Experience supporting SOX compliance or internal controls
• Background in audit readiness for growing or complex organizations
• Experience with ERP systems and structured close environments
• Advanced Excel skills
• Interest in process improvement and expanded responsibility over time
