The Shorelands & Environmental Assistance (SEA) program within the Department of Ecology seeks a State Waters Rule making Lead to design permitting program and rule for waters protection.
Location- Headquarters/Southwest Region Office (SWRO) – Lacey, WA
- Northwest Regional Office (NWRO) – Shoreline, WA
Must live within commutable distance of duty station. NWRO locations earn an additional 5% pay increase; salary range $5,776 – $7,770 per month.
Responsibilities- Help design permitting program to protect waters and streams and write rule outlining permit process and sideboards.
- Learn about rule making process and collaborate with interested parties to develop rule.
- Enhance public speaking skills through presentations to management, interested parties, and public.
Eligible to telework up to 90% of time.
CompensationAnnual salary $66,012 – $88,800. (Monthly range for NWRO $5,776–$7,770.)
