Base Pay$19.00/hr – $24.00/hr (actual hourly rate depends on experience)

No - Shift Details – Variable; shifts are 8 hours but can range from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- May require supporting clinics that are open Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location:
Various Clinic Sites – requires flexibility to travel to multiple sites; mileage reimbursement applies for commutes beyond your designated “home base/clinic.”
- Accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing in fast‑paced hospital and clinic settings, including outpatient, emergency, inpatient, newborn, and intensive‑care environments.
- Perform specimen collection using venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab techniques.
- Adhere to laboratory compliance and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (gloves, gowns, lab coats, face shields, masks).
- Communicate procedures and instructions to patients and family members with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area: dispose of waste, clean bench areas and equipment, restock supplies, and manage washroom duties as required.
- Support team members by training and mentoring new staff and performing other laboratory responsibilities assigned by the team or department leader.
- Navigate multiple computer systems and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Six months of phlebotomy experience, training, or national certification approved by manager/supervisor (preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Twelve months of phlebotomy experience, training, or national certification approved by manager/supervisor (preferred)
- Accepted National Certification (e.g., RPT, AMT PBT, ASCP, AMT, NCCT, NAPT, NHA, NPA, ACA, ASPT, NHCO)
Position requires physical stamina to perform phlebotomy procedures and maintain a clean work environment on a variable schedule.
LocationPlatte Valley Hospital, Brighton, Colorado (Other clinic sites may apply).
