Overview

PHARMACY/CERTIFIED TECH role at Kroger Mountain View Foods. Provides exceptional customer service and health/wellness services, upholding company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license as required
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgement
• Deliver a stellar customer experience; complete reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing accurately and efficiently
• Support coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians
• Compound medications per state regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and resources
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state/federal law and company policies
• Provide additional health and wellness services allowed by regulatory bodies
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify management
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity including robbery, theft or fraud
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure

• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician
